How much smaller will my images get?
Typically 60–90% smaller, depending on the source. Photos straight from a phone camera compress the most. Resizing to 1920px also drastically reduces size for web use.
Should I choose JPG or WebP?
WebP is 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same visual quality and works in all modern browsers. Choose JPG only if you need compatibility with older software.
