Frequently asked questions
How accurate are the results?
The calculator uses the official 2025–26 resident brackets and standard levies for each country, assuming a single filer with standard credits and no extra deductions. Real payslips can differ with pension contributions, benefits, student loans or family circumstances — treat the result as a close estimate, not tax advice.
Which deductions are included for each country?
Australia: income tax + 2% Medicare levy. New Zealand: PAYE + ACC earner levy. Singapore: resident income tax with optional 20% employee CPF (which also reduces taxable income). Ireland: PAYE (with single + employee credits), USC and PRSI.
Why isn't my country listed?
We start with countries whose national systems can be estimated accurately with a simple calculator. More countries are added over time — the list grows based on what visitors ask for.
